As we move towards the Year of the Rooster, we are delighted to invite you to join us on Friday 3 February 2017 for our Lunar New Year celebration at Confucius Institute for Scotland.
The party will run from 6pm-9pm. Apart from the usual drinks and delicious jiaozi, we are putting together a special programme of cultural engagement for the evening. You will also have the chance to meet up with friends old and new over a glass or two.

Music is the bridge- we are delighted to welcome you to this unique event featuring music and culture, celebrating the Chinese New Year and Heriot-Watt University's links with China. We hope you enjoy the evening.
Rainbow Melody is a group of Chinese musicians from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics who perform traditional Chinese music player on Chinese musical instruments including the bamboo flute, Chinese violin, zither, lute and other stringed instruments.
Arrival time is between 5.30pm to 6pm.
Performance begins at 6pm and a new year buffet at 7.15pm.
