The Chinese Scottish Tartan inspires me....

is the theme of

in cooperation with
the RZSS Edinburgh Zoo

P5–P7 pupils are invited to submit entries relating to the theme of the tartan, which combines the blue and white of the Saltire with the red and yellow of the Chinese flag, interwoven with green bands symbolising the close co-operation between Scottish and Chinese botanists at the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh.

Entries may be in various formats: painting, drawing, craftwork, writing, photography, DVD, embroidery/stitching/textile, pottery.

Three prizes will be awarded in each grade, and one school will be chosen as the winner of the Tom Murray Memorial Prize.
